Now Hiring - Outside Sales Representative in Olympia, WA

This is an incredible opportunity for someone with lighting sales or at least building materials relationship management experience. Due to a pending transition, we are looking for a new member of our outside sales team to take on and grow an existing book of business in the south Puget Sound area.

The core responsibility of the Outside Sales role is to build and support relationships with homebuilders, electrical contractors, and designers throughout the single-family, and multi-family construction industries. High quality customer service is provided by supporting project design, product selection, and ensuring timeliness of execution. Other key relationships critical to success will be with manufacturer representatives as well as internal teammates in Purchasing and Operations.

Experience Required: Must have outside sales and/or customer relationship experience within the building materials industry. Would optimally have lighting and/or electrical experience given the technical nature of the trade.

Skills: Must be solutions, service, and team oriented to help customers with options and selections. Able to multi-task, manage time effectively, and follow-up on all open projects to completion. Able to use computer software for generating quotes and entering orders. Must be able to learn the fundamentals of lighting and lighting design if no prior experience.

Compensation: This position is 100% commission. Total compensation also includes generous holiday bonuses and company profit sharing plan.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
